I started running in my early 40’s as a result of following my running husband around watching him run races. I grew tired of standing around being a spectator so I started running races too. I have been running for over 10 years now and have run races from the 5K distance to the marathon. My favorite distance to run is the half marathon. I also enjoy lifting weights and doing hot yoga to complement my running.
What I’m loving right now:
I wear the Garmin Forerunner 15 because it allows me to track my pace and mileage. My favorite running shoe for training and long distance is the Adidas Boost because I love the amount of cushioning that it offers. Nike apparel is a definite and a must for keeping me dry, warm and fashionable. Feetures socks give my feet the support they need and salted caramel Gu is always a favorite energy gel for those long training runs.
